The history of Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney, as probably suggested by the name, is the result of an amalgamation between two local clubs Arklow Geraldines and Ballymoney.
As you will see from the history of both clubs each had it’s own successes at various stages, but the time had come when, in the interest of GAA in Arklow, a merging of clubs was necessary.

Playing Members
We currently have over 500 playing members over all the various age categories together with a large community of very enthusiastic supporters !!

Teams
The club teams cover Senior Mens, Senior Ladies, Juvenile Boys and Juvenile Girls with the various teams within these sections.

With a wide variety of coaches involved in our club covering all levels of ability and age groups.

Playing Pitches / Training Grounds
AGB are blessed to have two playing/training facilities for its members.
AGB Ladies' Section
The Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney ladies' section was established in 2003. The opening season saw AGB win the Junior Shield followed by a Junior Championship in 2004.

Juvenile Boys
Juvenile boys age groups in the club:
Under 7, U8, U9, U10's, and minor teams.
Juvenile Girls
Juvenile girls caters for girls age groups:
Under 8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and minor teams.
Academy
AGB run an Academy for boys and girls aged between 4-6 yeras of age. The Academy is held on Saturday mornings on the Astro pitch at the Pearses' Park complex.
